The Professional Arts Building is the anchor of the newly established Roanoke Island campus for the College of the Albemarle. The building blends with the coastal cottage style architecture of the island with lab, workshop, studio, and classroom space for a variety of arts from boat building to jewelry making. The two-story building with attic is framed with structural steel on spread footings. The project also includes a wood framed boat house.
